Sometimes it's hard to share: almost every child knows that. However, it's a lesson we really need to learn. Unfortunately, Oliver wouldn't share his toy so the other children had fun playing together without him. The next day at the zoo Oliver knew exactly how lonely the monkey felt when no one would play with him. That's when Oliver learned far more than sharing: he learned to love sacrificially. Oh, that we all might learn this. Perhaps Oliver can show us the way. I can see some great conversations starting from Oliver's story. This is definitely a keeper!
To the point and illustrations were great
This is a great little book. Children can really understand the concept. My granddaughter who is 5 finally understood how her friends felt when she acted greedy. Love this book

Wonderful kids book with amazing illustrations! My 3 years old son and I read this book with pleasure. It is a cute book with a surprise and pictures of funny animals. The book is also superbly illustrated to reflect the author's story. We really liked it!
